Payment Link Update

The Payment Link Update API allows you to change the link status, expiry date and amount to be booked until payment is made.

This API can only be used for the payment link generated by the Pay By Link (hosted_page.url_shortener) process.

Header Authentication

To authenticate your payment requests, use Novalnet's custom header authentication. The custom header field is constructed as follows:

Each header request is built using the Payment access key. To get your Payment Access Key, login to your Novalnet Admin Portal and navigate to the path Projects -> [Select Desired Project] -> API credentials -> Payment access key.
The Payment Access Key should be encoded using a variant of Base64.
The resultant base64_encoded value should be passed in the Novalnet's custom header key X-NN-Access-Key.
The custom header field is formulated in the format
X-NN-Access-Key:base64_encoded_value.

All requests must be carried out through an HTTPS connection along with the header values, otherwise, the request will fail with authorization error messages.

Your Payment Access Key carry many privileges, so be sure to keep them secure! Do not share your secret Payment Access Key in publicly accessible areas such as GitHub, client-side code, and so forth.

Each request is separated into so-called objects which indicate an entity

Each parameter is marked with attributes Mandatory, Conditional, Optional. Based on your necessity, you can use these parameters accordingly.

amount Integer Conditional 522	The total amount to be charged from the customer includes the line items, tax, shipping and additional costs (in minor units), e.g., Euro in Eurocents (5,22 € = 522).

Parameter	Description
link_id String Mandatory 08m3v121aaaaecji	A unique identifier for the payment link. This value is available in the Pay by Link API response (transaction.txn_secret).
status String Conditional EXPIRED\|DEACTIVATED	Status of the generated payment link The following values are permitted: EXPIRED - To expire the payment link DEACTIVATED - To deactivate the payment link
link_expiry String Conditional 2026-11-18 11:43:21	The expiry date of the payment link. The following format to be specified are: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS YYYY-MM-DD NOTE: The maximum expiry date is 90 days after the payment link is generated. If only the date (YYYY-MM-DD) is specified, the link will expire at the end of the specified date.
