Guaranteed payments are carried out through Guaranteed Direct Debit SEPA or Guaranteed Invoice. If guaranteed payments are made through Direct Debit SEPA or Invoice payment, the credit check is validated by Novalnet to ensure shoppers make substantial payments. Once shoppers' credibility is authentic, you will receive a payment guarantee from Novalnet.

B2C stands for Business to Shoppers where transactions are made for exchange of products or services between a business.and a shopper. For eg., retailers to shoppers. Shoppers have to provide their date of birth while transacting.

How does Guaranteed Payments work?

  1. Shoppers choose Guaranteed Direct Debit SEPA or Guaranteed Invoice on the checkout page.
  2. To proceed with Guaranteed Direct Debit SEPA shoppers should agree to a SEPA mandate. SEPA mandate is considered as an authorization from shoppers’ end to pull money regularly from the shoppers’ bank account.
  3. Novalnet validates shoppers’ bank details for authenticity and credibility.
  4. If the shopper is found legitimate, Novalnet will provide a payment guarantee for the shopper and the merchant will deliver the goods.
  5. If the payments are not received post confirmation, due to some illicit reasons, Novalnet will be liable and transfer the order amount to the merchant for the delivered goods.

Payment API

The Payment API function performs all actions related to payments. The payment function mainly authorizes the payment details and can further capture payments immediately. When we say capture, it denotes that payment is processed successfully.

Authorize

As the function's name implies, Authorize performs a basic payment authorization. The details entered in the payment form is run through an authorization process to ensure their validity and payment details are verified for further processing

Set up the integration of the payment methods Guaranteed Direct Debit SEPA and Guaranteed Invoice in your web shop using any of the following integration methods based on your business model. Previously, you must have enabled the Guaranteed Direct Debit SEPA and Guaranteed Invoice in the Novalnet Admin Portal. In case you cannot find any payment types with payment guarantee there, please contact our support team.
