 Boleto

Boleto (Boleto Bancário) is a traditional bank slip-based payment method in Brazil. It allows customers to make payments either online or in person at banks, ATMs, or authorized retail outlets. Although slower than Pix, it remains widely used and is particularly useful for customers with limited access to digital banking.

How does Boleto work?

  1. Shoppers choose the Boleto payment type on the checkout page.
  2. A Boleto slip with barcode and payment details is generated and displayed on the order confirmation page.
  3. Shoppers complete the payment using their banking app, ATM, bank branch, or authorized payment locations.
  4. Once the payment is complete, Novalnet prompts the merchant to deliver the products to shoppers.
