EURAXESS Worldwide is an initiative that intends to raise awareness around the world about:
- the attractiveness of Europe as a research destination: the excellent researcher mobility and career opportunities in Europe as well as the international research and innovation collaboration and networking opportunities it offers, especially through Pillars 1 and 2 of Horizon Europe and its successor programme
- the services available to assist researchers interested in coming to Europe

- Take part in events designed for you – including information sessions, thematic talks, networking and matchmaking opportunities, and major fairs and conferences that connect you with peers and potential collaborators.
- Build valuable connections – we work closely with EU Delegations, National Contact Points, top universities, research institutions, and agencies to open doors for international cooperation.
- Stay informed and visible – through the EURAXESS website and social media, we share opportunities and updates that matter to you, while also helping spread the word about EU research and innovation policies.

EURAXESS Worldwide in numbers
Since 2013, EURAXESS Worldwide has:
- organised almost 3 000 events with over 195 000 participants.
- collected more than 2,6 million visitors on country/hub portals overall.
- collected more than 130,000 likes and followers via social media and posted more than 11 500 news, funding opportunities and events information on the portals
Only in 2024, over 750 activities were carried out, reaching close to 36 000 participants. The different portals received over 470 000 visits and Social Media channels used surpassed the 130 000 followers.
As of the first quarter of 2025, close to 130 000 researchers and multipliers stay informed through the EURAXESS Worldwide initiative.
