Ceadaíonn an Tionscnamh Eorpach ó na Saoránaigh do 1 mhilliún saoránach ón gceathrú cuid ar a laghad de Bhallstáit AE a iarraidh ar an gCoimisiún Eorpach reachtaíocht a mholadh i réimsí a thagann faoi réim a inniúlachta. Tugtar cuireadh d'eagraithe ar thionscnaimh rathúla a dtionscnamh a chur i láthair ag éisteacht phoiblí i bParlaimint na hEorpa os comhair an choiste reachtúil atá freagrach as an ábhar. Three European Parliament committees, IMCO, JURI and PETI, held a public hearing on the European Citizens’ Initiative “Stop Destroying Videogames.” The hearing follows the initiative’s submission on 26 January 2026 and gave its organisers the chance to present their proposal. Members of Parliament questioned the European Commission about actions it may take in response.

The LIBE Committee hosted a Public Hearing on the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) calling for a "Ban on conversion practices in the European Union". The hearing took place with the involvement of the Committee on Petitions (PETI) and the participation of the Committee on Gender Equality and Women’s Rights (FEMM).

On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the organisers of the European Citizens' Initiative will present their initiative at a public hearing held by the FEMM committee with involvement of PETI and with the participation of the DEVE, SANT and LIBE committees in presence of Hadja Lahbib, Commissioner for Equality; Preparedness and Crisis Management.
