Europske građanske inicijative

Europska građanska inicijativa omogućuje jednom milijunu građana iz barem jedne četvrtine država članica EU-a da zatraži od Europske Komisije da podnese zakonodavni prijedlog u područjima koja su u njenoj nadležnosti. Organizatore uspješnih inicijativa poziva se da predstave svoju inicijativu na javnom saslušanju u Europskom parlamentu pred zakonodavnim odborom koji je zadužen za njihov predmet. Three European Parliament committees, IMCO, JURI and PETI, held a public hearing on the European Citizens’ Initiative “Stop Destroying Videogames.” The hearing follows the initiative’s submission on 26 January 2026 and gave its organisers the chance to present their proposal. Members of Parliament questioned the European Commission about actions it may take in response.

The LIBE Committee hosted a Public Hearing on the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) calling for a "Ban on conversion practices in the European Union". The hearing took place with the involvement of the Committee on Petitions (PETI) and the participation of the Committee on Gender Equality and Women’s Rights (FEMM).
