About a month ago my friend bought me a knife as a gift in her name, I emailed and called asking for them to change the name on the delivery address before it had arrived but I never got a reply. Because of the wrong name on the parcel the delivery company wouldn’t give me the parcel as you need to verify with your ID. I then receive an email asking if I’d like to come and pick it up or change the delivery options. Never got a reply, but I travelled 2 hours to go and pick the knife up to avoid more delivery issues, only for them to refuse to give me the knife. 340 pounds gone to waste.

Update: issue has been resolved within days, and they even offered a gift voucher as an apology. Would definitely buy from again.

We’d very much like to resolve this for you — whether by issuing a refund or ensuring the knife is delivered correctly.

Unfortunately, due to UK regulations, bladed products can only be handed over to the person named on the parcel once ID is verified.

However, we’d like to investigate why your earlier emails weren’t answered and make this right. The web team also has a direct phone number for such queries.
