1. What is the problem that you need to address? There has been a recent incident of Amoeba outbreak that alarmingly caught our attention that made us want to study the water sources whether if the cause started from where the water originates or the cause started from the activity of the infected persons as well as other factors affecting it.
2. What is the research gap you seek to answer? The potability/microbiologicl water analysis of the main source of water and the tap water in Mountain View College, as well as the water in Hilltop Spring (water from the refilling station in MVC).
3. What are are your objectives to addres the problem? • To identify the bacteria present in the main source. • To determine the quality of tap water and the water from Hilltop Spring in terms of: - pH - Salinity - Chloride test - presence of micriological organisms
4. What is your methodology? • Gather samples from the main source, tap water, and refilling station. • Transport the samples to the testing laboratory intended for the potability testing and microbiological analysis. • Analyze and interpret the results.
