Fixed
- Right-click on a Layers panel row did nothing. Every other card
surface in the app (the canvas card itself, a Smart Folder chip) had
acontextmenuhandler; the Layers panel row never got one when the
panel was first built. Right-clicking a row now shows the exact same
context menu (Rename, Pin, Bring to front/Send to back, Delete, etc.)
as right-clicking the card on canvas. - Selecting a layer silently bumped it to the front. The row's
click handler calledbringToFront()on every select — meant as a
convenience ("jump to what I clicked"), but it actively fights the
one thing a layers list exists for: reordering without moving
through z-order first. Selecting a row now only selects it.
Added
- Drag-to-reorder in the Layers panel. Rows are draggable; dropping
one above or below another reassigns real z-order via a new
KanvazCards.reorderLayers(), persisted and undo-reversible like any
other structural change (markDirty()+KanvazHistory.push()), the
same way Photoshop or Figma's own layers list works.
Both bugs were caught by direct user feedback from manual testing
("right click doesn't work"), not by the static suite or code review —
a contextmenu handler is a DOM wiring gap node test/validate.js
has no way to see. Verified live via CDP against a real running
instance: right-clicked a layer row (context menu appeared, same item
count as the on-canvas menu), then simulated a drag from the top row
to the bottom and confirmed both the panel's row order and the actual
canvas cards' z/zIndex updated to match.
