The organization of the academic year 2025 /2026 in Cyprus is as follows:

Beginning of the academic year	September
Period(s) when there are teaching activities	September to December January or February to April or May June to July (summer courses)
Period(s) of examination	December Beginning of May End of July Midterm examinations might be held at some institutions during the 6^th – 8^th week of the semester
End of the academic year	End of July
Breaks between the teaching activities excluding the examination period, if significant	Easter break
