2025-2026年的程序
下一任秘书长的遴选和任命程序将根据大会决议，遵循透明与包容原则推进。
2025年9月5日，大会通过了关于振兴大会工作的第79/327号决议 ，该决议根据《联合国宪章》第97条规定了秘书长的遴选和任命程序。第79/327号决议以先前的相关决议为基础，对秘书长的遴选和任命程序作了重大改进。
在整个程序中：
- 这一程序由大会主席和安理会主席发表联名信启动。
- 候选人由某个会员国或会员国集团提名。候选人需公开发表愿景声明及简历信息，并披露竞选资金来源。
- 大会主席要与所有候选人进行网播互动对话。
- 大会主席以透明和包容的方式与会员国密切接触。
启动程序
2025年11月25日，大会主席和安理会主席联名致信所有会员国，正式启动了秘书长遴选程序。
联名信作为第A/80/544-S/2025/765号决议 印发，邀请会员国提名秘书长候选人，并概述了遴选程序和提名候选人的原则。
秘书长职位候选人提名
大会主席和安全理事会主席在提交候选人时共同通知会员国，维护并定期更新一份公开候选人名单，包括候选人的姓名、提名国、愿景声明、履历，以及竞选资金披露。
大会主席和安全理事会主席的联合信函用于共同通知会员国，并转发由提名候选人的会员国提交的原始函件。

The President of the General Assembly convenes webcast interactive dialogues with all candidates for the position of Secretary-General. Candidates will present their vision statements and answer questions by Member States during the interactive dialogues (tbc).
