Native To Salesforce And Powered By Artificial Intelligence (AI) Einstein Analytics is native to the Salesforce platform and you don’t need to install any additional packages to get started! It allows you to explore all your data quickly and easily by providing AI-powered advanced analytics, right within your Salesforce environment! However, you will need special permission set licenses to explore and develop your insights. If you want to explore before deciding on what licenses to purchase, Trailhead has you covered. Here are a few modules that I found particularly helpful: Explore with Analytics , Salesforce Einstein Basics.  2. Your In-house Data Scientist At Your Service! Data Scientists can quickly sift through huge amounts of data to find important correlations and make accurate predictions. Sometimes it’s difficult to make sense out of large amount of data and that is where Einstein helps, giving Salesforce admins a powerful way to bring data in from different sources via Data Sets and make sense out of it.  3. Works On Both Salesforce And Non-Salesforce Data There are various ways you can bring data into the Einstein Analytics universe. You can bring in external data through a CSV file using the CSV uploader, or bring it in using connectors or the Analytics API. For Salesforce data, you can use a powerful tool called the dataflow. For preparation, you can also use the dataflow—or you can get cooking with the dataset recipe tool. Either way, Salesforce Einstein Analytics enables you to work on both Salesforce and non-Salesforce data. For more details about data set and data flow, you can get hands-on experience with the Analytics Integration Basics trailhead module.  Accelerated Benefits Using Remote Data Connectors Salesforce has created an Einstein Analytics connector with BigQuery to provide simple ways for connecting data that is scattered across multiple systems, geographies and warehouses. This approach ensures smarter data prep to speed up your journey to actionable insights and helps augment your CRM data with external data in BigQuery, intelligently prepare and clean your data and create Analytics Apps with fewer clicks. It also helps customers find answers instantly on their channels of choice and helps service agents resolve cases faster by triaging cases and recommending the right articles. Additionally, Einstein helps marketers send the right content to the right customer, at the right time, through the right channel, thus increasing customer engagement. Moreover, Einstein also helps retailers recommend the best product to each customer, at the right time, boosting the revenue and helping the Commerce users.
• #6 App: AppAn app contains dashboards, lenses, and datasets in any combination that makes sense for sharing your data analyses with colleagues. Apps are like folders. They allow users to organize their data projects—private and shared—and to control sharing. DataSet : Manage your datasets, query data with Salesforce Analytics Query Language (SAQL), and customize dashboards, all programmatically. Lens : A lens is a visualization of data in a dataset LensA lens is a view into a dataset used in an exploratory mode or to get insight to a specific business question. The lens can be saved and shared independently. It can also be clipped to a dashboard. A dataflow is a set of instructions that specifies what data to extract from Salesforce objects or datasets, how to transform the datasets, and which datasets to make available for querying. RecipeA recipe is a user-interface tool that lets you take data from your existing datasets and connected objects, apply transformations, and the output the results to a new dataset. DatasetA dataset is a collection of related data that is stored in a denormalized, yet highly compressed form that is optimized for interactive exploration. An Analytics dashboard is a collection of widgets that work together to tell a data story from multiple angles. Depending on what you want the dashboard to show or how to behave, you can add different widgets, such as key performance indicators, charts, tables, filters, and images.
• #7 It’s not easy. It’s just as challenging to describe your business data so others can visualize it. There’s so much information from sales, service, marketing, social media posts, device sensors—it’s overwhelming just to think about! Where do you start to describe it clearly? And how do you synthesize the information and make it easy for stakeholders in the company to form their own clear picture? Analytics dashboards can make this job much easier. In this module, you build your own dashboard using the dashboard designer. You explore the following features: Wizards to build widgets that summarize your data. Widget interactivity to answer different types of questions without leaving the dashboard. Layouts to optimize the dashboard for different devices.
• #8  4. Use case Lets solve this use case by actually creating a dashboard Data Flow 3. Dashboard Widgets 4. Lets get hand dirty Lets get started building Einstein Analytics app that empowers your users to get smarter about every customer 1. start with analytics tab / go to App Launcher --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UirXRBtQwO4 - Create App to organize lenses and dashboard - analytics runs on proprietorry datasets that you also create in studio - Your data sources are salesforce or external data sources - - Show the csv file - Upload csv file - create dataset - create lens - create data recipe - Create Dashboard - Create a component - Show each property for dashboard
• #9 With Analytics, you can take either a business user path or a builder path, depending on what you want to do, and you can switch paths at any time. The business user path, generally for those with Use Analytics permission, leads to ready-to-explore dashboards and lenses in curated apps. For this path, work in the Analytics tab to run apps and collaborate with coworkers over dashboards. The builder path, generally for those with permission to create Analytics assets, leads to ready-to-explore datasets and ready-to-edit apps, dashboards, and lenses. For this path, work in the Analytics Studio to browse your assets and build new ones.
• #11 Einstein Analytics Platform Admin enables all permissions required to administer the Analytics platform, including permissions to enable creating Analytics template apps and Apps. Einstein Analytics Platform User enables all permissions required to use the Analytics platform and Analytics template apps and Apps
