1. iOS is derived from OS X .
2. Founder were Steve Wozniak,
Steve Jobs.
3. Developed and distributed by
APPLE.inc.
4. Released in 2007 for the iPhone
and iPod Touch.
5. Extended to support iPad and
Apple TV.

Some facts about iOS

1. iOS does not allow installation of NON-
  APPLE HARDWARE.
2. June 12, 2012, Apple's App Store contained
  more than 650,000 iOS applications.
3. These Apps downloaded 30 BILLION TIMES..
4. Current IOS version is 6.0 and 6.0.1 will be
  released soon.
Updating of iOS

1. iOS updates are free.
