Plant Reactions to a Stimulus
 Phototropism – plants reaction to light
 Positive = move towards the light
 Negative = move away from the light
 Gravatropism – plants reaction to gravity
 Positive = grow with gravity (down)
 Negative = grow against gravity (up)

Create…
 Your group will create and present a poster that
represents the connection between photosynthesis
and cellular respiration between a flowering plant and
an animal and other information. Make sure that you
include ALL of this information in your poster.
 Molecules – CO2, H2O, C6H12O6, O2, ATP, and the sun!
 Structures – Chloroplast, Mitochondria (in an animal),
lungs, blood stream, small intestine/villi, roots, leaves,
stems, xylem, phloem, stoma/stomata, and guard cells.
 Terms/explanation to include – gravatropism and
phototropism.
 Vascular Tissues – show what molecules are transported
and in what direction.
 Flower Anatomy – show ALL of the male and female
reproductive organs.
