2. Li-Fi Based Data Transmission System
 Introduction
This project uses Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology to send data using LED light instead
of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It uses the STM32 microcontroller to send and receive data with
the help of a light sensor (LDR).It is a safe & fast method.
 Existing System
• Most current wireless data systems use Radio Frequency (RF) technologies
like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• RF-based systems can cause interference and are not safe in sensitive areas
like hospitals or airplanes.
• Traditional systems use simple microcontrollers like Arduino with limited
capabilities.
Doing Something new in our Project
• We are using Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology that uses light
(LED) to transmit data.
• The system is built using an STM32 microcontroller, which is
faster and more efficient.
• Data is sent from an LED and received using an LDR.
• This is a low-cost, secure, and interference-free way of
communication.
Hardware & Software Requirement
Hardware
• STM32 Microcontroller
• High Brightness White LED
• LDR (Light Dependent
Resistor)
• Resistors (220Ω, 10kΩ)
• Breadboard and Jumper Wires
• USB Cable for STM32
• 5V Power Supply
Software
• STM32CubeIDE or Keil
u Vision
• Embedded C
Programming
• Serial Monitor or
Display (for showing
received message)
Programming Language
• Embedded C
Application & Future Scope
 Application:
• Used in Hospitals, Classrooms, Aircraft, and Underwater communication.
• Secure communication in military and defense.
• Future alternative to Wi-Fi in limited and safe zones.
 Future Scope :
• Can be upgraded to audio/video transmission.
• Add two-way communication (bi-directional Li-Fi).
• Add IoT integration with cloud services.
• Can be used in mobile-to-mobile data transfer via flashlight and camera.

3. Smart Fire Detection & Alert System Using STM32
 Introduction
It’s a system that detects fire or smoke using sensors, and the STM32
controller processes the signal to trigger alarms and send alerts (like buzzer,
SMS, or app notification) for quick safety action.
 Existing System
• Traditional fire alarms using smoke detectors and manual triggers..
• No real-time alerts, SMS or app.
• No temperature or smoke analysis.
• Normal fire alarms only use sound alerts.
Doing Something new in our Project
• Using STM32 controller for fast and accurate detection.
• Real-time fire and smoke detection with instant buzzer and GSM
(SMS)alerts.
• Uses a Sensors for detect smoke, flame, and temperature.
• Display to show fire status.
Hardware & Software Requirement
Hardware:
• STM32 Microcontroller
• Flame sensor, Smoke sensor
(MQ-2), Temperature sensor
(LM35)
• GSM Module (SIM800L)
• Buzzer ,LCD Display
• LEDs, Power Supply
Software :
