Delegation to the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly
The Delegation to the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly (D-UK) has 35 full members and an equal number of substitute members. It meets regularly to discuss topics of interest to the EU-UK relationship and to hold exchanges of views with experts, institutions, and civil society. The chair of D-UK is MEP Sandro Gozi (Renew, FR). The first vice-chair is MEP Klára DOBREV (S&D, HU), and the second vice-chair is Mika AALTOLA (EPP, FI).
D-UK Members equally make up the EU delegation to the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly (PPA). The EU-UK PPA is an assembly composed of an equal number of MEPs and of Members of the UK Parliament. They gather to review the EU-UK relation and to exchange views on key issues. It is informed of the EU-UK Partnership Council's decisions and makes recommendations to it. The PPA meets twice a year, alternating between the European Parliament, in one of its usual places of work, and the UK Parliament.
