During the month of June INTA will hold an extraordinary meeting as well as several joint meetings with other committees. On 2 June, between 9:00 and 10:00 Members will exchange and vote on the provisional agreement resulting from interinstitutional negotiations on the so-called "Turnberry" legislative proposals – the two pieces of legislation implementing EU tariff commitments under the August 2025 EU-US Joint Statement.

From 25 to 27 May 2026, MEPs will travel to South Africa to discuss the commercial relations as well as regional integration.

INTA Members will vote on the provisional agreement on global steel overcapacity, on the adoption of the non-legislative report on EU economic security, on the EU-Pakistan agreement on tariff rate quotas in the wake of Brexit, on the termination of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement with Liberia on FLEGT and on the opinions to AFET on the agreements with Switzerland and on the changing geopolitical situation in East Asia.
