Missions
The purpose of this mission was (i) to gain first-hand insight into the challenges the European Union Agency for Asylum had and to evaluate the measures they implemented after the European Parliament decided to postpone the 2023 discharge to the Agency; and (ii) to allow CONT Members to meet Maltese national authorities in charge of the implementation of EU funds and to evaluate the control measures put in place by the authorities to guarantee the protection of the financial interests of the EU.
The mission aimed at assessing the setup and initial functioning of new control and audit mechanisms in connection with the implementation of the Western Balkans Facility.
The purpose of this mission was to send a signal of solidarity with Ukraine, to scrutinise the use of EU funds in the country and to foster ties with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and other partners.
The purpose of this mission was to assess the situation in Slovakia related to ensuring the sound financial Management of EU funds and, more generally, to the protection of the EU’s financial interests.
