On 3 June 2026, the FEMM and LIBE Committees will jointly organise a public hearing on the forthcoming ‘New Strategy on Anti-Trafficking’, to be presented later this year by the European Commission. The hearing will focus on the implementation and results of the EU Strategy on Combatting Trafficking in Human Bengs (2021-2025), the lessons learnt and possible ways forward to strengthen the EU response to trafficking in human beings.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the FEMM Committee will hold an exchange of views on amendments tabled to the FEMM draft opinion on the proposal for a regulation on “Establishing a budget expenditure tracking and performance framework and other horizontal rules for the Union programmes and activities”.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the FEMM Committee will vote on the draft resolution on the impact of the 1974 Turkish invasion on Cypriot women and girls, and the crimes committed by Turkish forces and consequences on gender equality.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the FEMM Committee will vote on a draft opinion on the proposal for a regulation on establishing Global Europe.

On Tuesday, 5 May 2026, a draft opinion on the proposal for a regulation on “Establishing a budget expenditure tracking and performance framework and other horizontal rules for the Union programmes and activities” was presented in the FEMM Committee.
