Description
Run checkout, shipping, notifications and the customer experience of your WooCommerce store from one plugin.
Codela Commerce Toolkit is a modular WooCommerce plugin for every step an order takes, from the cart to the customer’s door: a tidier checkout, shipping and order notifications for customers, agreements and communication consent, invoices, and after-sales support. Every module starts switched off; you turn on what you need, and the rest is never loaded.

Why Codela
- See it before you turn it on. Every module has a preview on the Modules screen: product page badges, checkout cards, WhatsApp/SMS messages, the email summary and accounting rows are drawn with your own settings and a sample order. Previews never create records or send messages.
- Fits your theme. Codela detects your theme’s corner style once and saves it, so every storefront component looks the same on every page; you can change it manually at any time. The font follows your theme. The rest of the product page stays with your theme; Codela only draws the components it adds.
- Ready for Turkey. Province, district and neighbourhood selection, individual/company billing fields, Turkish agreement templates and a Turkish interface. All fields can also be configured for other countries.
- Keep track of setup. Codela Brain shows which modules are ready to use and what needs attention in your store (pending payment notices, quote requests, support tickets, orders to review) on one screen.
Customer Portal
Give customers a My Account area that works like an app on their phone, where they can follow their orders and account details. The latest-order card, order list and details, addresses and account pages share one layout. Depending on the modules you enable, shipment tracking, support tickets, quotes and invoices appear there too.
Product pages get two optional components: a full-width gallery customers can swipe on their phones, and a sticky “Add to cart” bar that appears as the page scrolls. The bar takes the colour and style of your theme’s own button. If your theme does not use the standard WooCommerce gallery, the theme’s gallery stays in place. My Account and the gallery can be switched on and off independently.
Smart Checkout
- Advanced Checkout: shows saved addresses as summary cards; customers pick or edit them in a dialog. The individual/company choice, company name, tax number and tax office fields and the number of saved addresses are configurable.
- Regional Address Layer: adds province, district and neighbourhood selection to checkout and address forms.
- Gift Wrap & Note: adds a gift wrap option with your fee and saves the customer’s gift message with the order.
All three work with both the classic and the block-based WooCommerce checkout.
Conversion Tools
Show the information customers need to decide, based on real data:
- Delivery Estimate: shows “ships today” and the estimated delivery date from your last order time, working days, holidays and transit time. The time left until the last order time updates as a live countdown.
- Shipping Progress: shows how much is left for free shipping, with a progress bar, on the product page and in the cart and checkout order summary. The threshold is read from your WooCommerce shipping settings and the amount is calculated the way WooCommerce decides free shipping. Display only — it never changes rates, prices or the selected method. When the cart qualifies for free shipping but a paid rate is selected, the bar can turn into a warning so the customer can switch.
- Live Visitor Counter: shows how many real visitors are viewing the product right now. You set the minimum number before it appears.
- Urgency Badge: a “only 3 left” notice based on real stock, and a campaign countdown.
- Trust Badges: short labels for your services such as secure payment, cash on delivery, returns and fast shipping.
- WhatsApp Chat Button: an “Ask on WhatsApp” button on the product page, and optionally a floating button on every page. It opens the customer’s own WhatsApp with a message that already names the product and its link; no external service is used.
Where the components appear on the product page is set under Conversion Tools. How they look is set once under General settings › Storefront design: the corner style is detected from your theme automatically, or you choose it yourself.
Notification Center
Decide which message goes to whom, and through which channel, for each order event.
- Email Notifications: sends order summaries and alerts to store managers through WordPress email.
- SMS Notifications and WhatsApp Alerts: send order messages to customers and managers through your Twilio account.
Templates for each event and channel can be personalised with order and customer details, and the delivery log shows which messages were sent.
Shipment Tracking
- Cargo Tracking: add the carrier and tracking number to an order. Customers reach the tracking link from My Account and from the notification channels you enable; the link opens the carrier’s tracking page.
- Cargo Delay Monitor: finds orders that exceed your day limit after shipping, notifies managers and adds an order note. The check is based on the order’s shipping details; it does not receive live location data from carriers.
- Stock Alert: notifies managers when products reach low stock or run out.
Payment Collection and Payment Plans
- Bank Transfer Notification Form: customers send their payment details and receipt from the order; you review the notices in the admin.
- Payment Reminder: sends email, SMS or WhatsApp reminders at the times you set for bank transfer orders awaiting payment.
- Payment Plans: define instalment counts and rates per bank or card and show the calculated amounts on product, cart and checkout pages. The tables are informational; instalment payments are processed by your payment provider.
Cart Recovery
Send email, SMS or WhatsApp reminders to customers who did not finish their order, at the times you choose and up to the number you set. Define discount tiers by cart value to create single-use WooCommerce coupons. Messages respect each customer’s communication consent, and the retention period of records is configurable.
Review Collector
Invite customers to review the products they bought after their order is completed. You set when the first request is sent, the interval between requests and the maximum number of requests, and can limit requests to selected categories.
Documents & Reports
- Invoice PDF: upload the invoice PDF you prepared to the order, or import it from an HTTPS address you allow. Files are kept in a private location; customers can only download the invoice of their own order from My Account or receive it as an email attachment. Official e-invoice and e-ledger processes stay in your accounting system.
- Quote & PDF: receive quote requests for products and manage their amount and status. Customers follow their quotes in My Account and can print or save a quote document with your company details and validity period as PDF. Catalog mode applies the quote flow to all products, selected products or out-of-stock products, and can hide prices.
- Accounting Export: prepares Excel-compatible CSV reports by date range and order status, either line by line or summarised by day, payment method and tax.
Privacy & Consent
Edit the distance sales agreement and the pre-information form for your store; seller, buyer, product and order details are placed into the documents with variables. An order-specific PDF copy of the accepted document is archived and can be attached to the emails you choose.
Manage email, SMS and WhatsApp consent by purpose and channel. Customers change their preferences in My Account, and marketing messages follow them. The module works with WordPress personal data export and erasure tools. For the Turkish İYS registry a separate adapter is required.
Consent checkboxes work with both the classic and the block-based checkout.
Order Protection
Define risk thresholds, blocked customer details and trusted customer lists. Orders that match your rules are flagged or moved to the order status you choose, and managers are notified. The final decision stays with you.
Support Inbox
Customers open support requests linked to their orders. Your team answers them from a single inbox, and each conversation stays next to its order. Notification channels for new requests and replies can be chosen separately.
Stock & Price Sync
Bring stock and price data from your supplier’s or your own list into WooCommerce. Upload a CSV file or set an HTTPS address that is checked every hour. Products are matched by SKU and you choose which columns hold stock and price. For manual uploads you see the products that will change and the unmatched rows before you confirm.
Flowboard
Connect repeated tasks in a visual flow. Start from order, notification, support and module events, and add conditions and wait steps. For example, add an order note, change the order status, send a notification or post data to an HTTPS address you set. The run log shows which steps ran and which were skipped.

FAQ
-
Is Codela Commerce Toolkit completely free?
-
Yes. All included modules are free. There is no Pro edition, paid feature lock, subscription or trial. Optional external services such as Twilio may charge for their own services; those fees are separate from Codela.
-
Does this plugin require WooCommerce?
-
Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active.
-
Does the plugin send messages or data immediately after activation?
-
No. The related module, event, and delivery option must be enabled first. Twilio messages also require valid credentials, and external Flowboard deliveries require an HTTPS endpoint entered by an administrator.
-
Which service sends WhatsApp messages?
-
The optional WhatsApp module uses Twilio’s WhatsApp API. Enter a Twilio Account SID, authentication token, and an approved WhatsApp sender or sandbox number in the module settings.
-
Does shipment tracking connect to carrier APIs?
-
No. Built-in carriers are tracking URL templates. Saving or displaying a tracking number does not contact a carrier; a request is made only when someone opens its link. You can add a carrier name and HTTPS tracking URL template in the module settings.
-
Can I keep my theme’s WooCommerce product and My Account designs?
-
Yes. Customer Portal is optional, and each part defaults to the active theme. My Account and the product gallery can be switched independently, and Codela does not restyle the rest of the product page. Disable the module at any time to return immediately to your theme’s WooCommerce appearance; saved Codela preferences are retained for later use.
-
Which product gallery layouts are available?
-
Theme / WooCommerce leaves the active theme’s gallery untouched. Full-width swipe turns the standard WooCommerce gallery into a mobile-first horizontal gallery with arrows and an image counter; if a theme or page builder does not use the standard gallery, the theme’s own gallery stays in place. The setting does not replace WooCommerce product data, variation selection, zoom/lightbox ownership or extension hooks. Stores that used the retired editorial flow are moved to the swipe gallery automatically.
-
Which third-party libraries are bundled?
-
Flowboard includes unmodified distribution files from the libraries below. Exact license texts and source references are also included in

Which external services can Codela connect to?
-
Codela connects to external services only when the related feature is configured and enabled. The details are below.
The plugin uses the following external services only in the circumstances described below.
-
Twilio WhatsApp API
-
When the optional WhatsApp module sends a test or an enabled notification, it calls Twilio’s API with the configured credentials, sender and recipient numbers, and message text. The text can contain order or customer details selected by the administrator. No request is made before credentials and delivery options are configured.
- Service: https://www.twilio.com/whatsapp
- Terms: https://www.twilio.com/legal/tos
- Privacy: https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy
-
Gravatar
-
The optional My Account layout uses WordPress’s
get_avatar()function when avatars are enabled. Unless the site or another avatar plugin supplies a local image, the browser may request it from Gravatar using a hash of the account email and ordinary request data such as IP address and browser details.- Service: https://gravatar.com/
- Terms: https://wordpress.com/tos/
- Privacy: https://automattic.com/privacy/
-
Administrator-configured HTTPS endpoints
-
Flowboard can send order, customer, notification, support, or operational event data to an HTTPS webhook entered and enabled by an administrator.
The optional consent adapter can send email or phone details, consent status, channel, source, order ID, timestamp, and configured site metadata to an administrator-configured HTTPS endpoint.
The optional stock synchronization module can retrieve a CSV from an administrator-configured HTTPS URL. The server receives ordinary request metadata such as the site’s IP address; no customer or order data is included in that request.
The optional Invoice PDF module can retrieve a PDF only from an HTTPS host explicitly allow-listed by an administrator. The remote server receives ordinary request metadata such as the site’s IP address. The retrieved document is validated and stored as authenticated ciphertext; its source URL is not shown to customers.
No request is sent to these endpoints until the administrator configures and enables the related feature. The receiving provider and its terms and privacy policy are selected by the administrator.
-
Carrier tracking pages
-
The shipment module creates links to public carrier tracking pages. It does not contact a carrier merely by saving or displaying shipment information. When someone opens a tracking link, their browser sends the tracking number in the URL and ordinary request information, such as their IP address and browser details, to that carrier.
Built-in templates can link to the providers below. The linked privacy notices are maintained by each provider:
- Türkiye: Yurtiçi Kargo, Aras Kargo, MNG Kargo, Sürat Kargo, PTT Kargo, HepsiJET, and Kolay Gelsin.
- Europe and global: DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, and FedEx.
- United States: USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Administrators can add or replace carrier URLs. The terms and privacy policy for a custom carrier endpoint depend on the provider selected by the administrator.

Changelog
1.1.1
- Storefront design: the theme’s corner style is detected once (from a product’s add-to-cart button) and saved, so every Codela component looks the same on every page, including out-of-stock products, the cart and checkout. The saved value can be changed manually; switching themes detects again.
- Shipping Progress: shown on the product page, cart and checkout; in the block cart/checkout it sits in the order summary (right column). Its surface follows the theme. When free shipping is reached but a paid rate is selected, it can warn the customer instead of changing the selection.
- Delivery Estimate: the English default now reads “Order by 17:00 to ship today!” (was “Order within 17:00”); stores still using the old default text get the new one automatically.
- Turkish: the suffix after the last order time follows the spoken time (16:00’ya, 17:00’ye, 18:00’e).
- New: Shipping Progress (Conversion Tools) — “Add ₺150 more for free shipping” with a progress bar on the product page, cart and checkout (classic and block). Uses the WooCommerce Free shipping minimum for the customer’s zone and the same cart amount WooCommerce checks; rates and prices are never changed.
- New: WhatsApp Chat Button (Conversion Tools) — “Ask on WhatsApp” on the product page and an optional floating button; opens wa.me with the product name and link in the message. No external service.
- New: Shipping Progress can warn the customer when the cart qualifies for free shipping but a paid rate is selected at checkout (on by default); it never changes the selection.
- New: Delivery Estimate shows a live countdown to the last order time (“2 h 14 min left”), or wherever {timer} is placed in the message; when it runs out, the widget switches to the next shipping day without a reload.
- Updated the plugin description and WordPress.org listing: Store Appearance is described as Customer Portal, the retired editorial gallery option is no longer listed, and each module has a list icon.
- Removed build metadata from the Plugins screen.
1.0.9
- Redesigned module controls and previews with a separate feature preview panel, complete sample previews and more stable popup navigation.
- Fixed main and sub-module switch feedback, active states, setup navigation and first active sub-module routing.
- Renamed Store Appearance to Customer Portal; My Account is its main surface.
- Product pages are no longer restyled: only the optional swipe gallery and the sticky mobile cart bar remain, and the sticky bar follows the theme’s add-to-cart button. The editorial gallery flow was retired; stores using it move to the swipe gallery automatically.
- Refined the customer account presentation, including mobile controls and responsive layouts.
- Improved Turkish interface text and delivery estimate wording based on the store region.
1.0.8
- Removed Freemius SDK, paid-plan gates, plan badges and upgrade prompts.
- Made Flowboard headers, retries and saved nodes available without legacy plan restrictions.
- Renamed the checkout display label to Advanced Checkout and refreshed Turkish translations.
- Included all bundled modules in one free package while preserving existing enablement and uninstall-data preferences.
1.0.7
- Fixed a failsafe issue that could incorrectly disable active modules when Zend OPcache was unavailable or not started, including common WP-CLI environments.
- Automatically restores only modules affected by that exact OPcache false positive while preserving genuine module error records and a recovery backup.
- Added WordPress 7.1 compatibility updates for the iframed editor, supported upload types, generated media cleanup, and icon-button accessibility.
1.0.6
- Fixed the mobile My Account pages not scrolling on themes whose wrapper uses transform, filter or similar, by falling back to normal document flow when the fixed shell cannot scroll.
- Added an instant top progress bar when navigating between account pages, so a pending transition is visible immediately on slower servers.
- Made account notice buttons (e.g. email verification) render an evenly coloured border across all themes.
- Declared WooCommerce feature compatibility against the running plugin file so the plugin no longer triggers an HPOS/blocks incompatibility notice.
1.0.5
- Redesigned the My Quotes account page to use the same card layout as the Orders page, with a status pill, amount, item list, and an improved empty state.
- Aligned the Orders and Quotes list content and notices flush to the account panel, keeping the 32px desktop inset from the divider.
- Fixed the missing left border on account notice buttons (e.g. email verification and downloads) caused by a theme-forced translucent border colour.
1.0.4
- Introduced a monochrome design-token foundation and editorial product layout with variation pills, colour swatches, and a sticky mobile purchase bar.
- Redesigned the My Account shell with a borderless monochrome look, improved mobile menu, and monochrome billing address cards.
- Refined order-detail spacing, unified product and summary groups, and moved the track button into the header.
- Improved cargo card layout with inline track button and numeric dates on mobile.
- Renamed the address page to “Saved Addresses” and removed the redundant WooCommerce intro heading.
- Fixed Plugin Check compliance: translators comments, output escaping, and removed development-only tooling from the distribution.
1.0.3
- Added the independent Store Appearance module with a safe theme fallback and migration of existing My Account appearance preferences.
- Added an independently selectable product-detail presentation with theme, full-width swipe, and editorial gallery choices while preserving WooCommerce product, variation, lightbox, and extension-hook behavior.
- Added a lightweight Store Appearance preview and hardened popup initialization during AJAX settings navigation so the first visit never exposes dialog content in the page flow.
- Improved responsive My Account and order-detail states, including real product thumbnails, a filtered order summary, registry-driven order services, clearer failed-order shipment feedback, and removal of duplicate detail actions.
- Hardened HPOS order metadata access and module discovery regardless of plugin load order.
- Expanded Turkish translations, accessibility fallbacks, regression coverage, and WordPress.org package validation.
- Updated packaging for Agreements and Consent and WhatsApp Alerts.
- Moved Payment Plans, Gift Wrap and Note, and Live Visitor Counter into the free package.
- Moved the Turkish province, district, and neighborhood address layer into the free package.
1.0.2
- Refined the responsive My Account, order list, order details, checkout address, and customer preference interfaces.
- Moved the optional My Account presentation into the independent Store Appearance module with a safe theme fallback.
- Improved shipment progress, tracking availability feedback, payment notification actions, and order-linked support indicators.
- Fixed cart recovery timing, template installation reliability, checkout compatibility, and several administrator interface alignment issues.
- Updated Turkish translations and completed compatibility, security, and package validation.
1.0.1
- Added an optional, responsive My Account layout with a configurable accent color.
- Fixed shipment save and status flows and improved order, support, and administrator list behavior.
