
TV Remote device management payload settings for Apple devices
You can configure TV Remote settings for an Apple TV that enrolls in a device management service. In addition to controlling Apple TV with the Siri Remote, you can control Apple TV using the Apple TV app or the Control Center on iPhone, iPad, and Shared iPad.
Use the TV Remote payload to restrict both connections from the Apple TV app to an Apple TV, and displaying available Apple TV devices in the Apple TV app.
The TV Remote payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.
Supported payload identifier: com.apple.tvremote
Supported operating systems and channels: iOS, iPadOS, Shared iPad device, tvOS.
Supported enrollment methods: Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: False—only one TV Remote payload can be delivered to a device.
