The Financial Stability Authority of Finland protects taxpayers and society from the effects of banking crises. We are responsible for bank resolution and deposit guarantee in Finland. The National Emergency Account System safeguards daily payments in case of severe disruptions. We contribute to regulatory development through our expertise and are part of the Single Resolution Mechanism of the EU Banking Union.
