- Drive excellence, operational improvements and long-term sustainability of European research infrastructures and core facilities by designing and delivering short-cycle Continuous Professional Development courses (CPDs) for current and potential leaders.
- Create a foundation for the long-term provision of highly qualified personnel for managing research infrastructures, core facilities and other complex scientific operations in academia and industry.
- Establish a European School for Management of Research Infrastructures (ESMRI)
