Alina Karmacharya
Developer
I started my career with PHP and started working with Ruby on Rails since 2015. During this journey I worked on different roles wearing different hats including backend developer, team lead and professional service engineer.
I always wanted to help others and found out programming as a weapon to conquer that. When things get automated saving lots of time from manual work, it always brings a smile on my face.
I live in Kathmandu, Nepal - a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. I love travelling, spending time with nature and reading books.

David learnt Ruby on Rails while working on numerous e-commerce sites built with the Spree open source framework package - the most popular open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails.
When not working on professional projects he tries his hand at making games to sharpen his programming skills.
George Tobias
Developer
George is based in Manilla. He completed a Degree in Computer Science and while studying, developed a passion for object-oriented software design. While he worked primarily with Java applications while studying, his first professional project was built on Ruby (and Rails.) The simplicity and flexibility of Ruby convinced him to change his primary work focus.
While he has experience in PHP, Elixir and Phoenix, his heart keeps migrating back to Ruby.
When he’s not working he enjoys listening and playing music, and spending time with his wife and 2 children.
Isacio Tamayo
Infrastructure and Security

Jeriel Abayon
Developer
Jeriel started his career as a developer for Joomla (PHP) and found web development as very interesting. He then transitioned to Ruby on Rails development and stayed with it because of its simplicity and ease of development.
When he’s not programming, Jeriel is traveling either locally or internationally to see and experience different heritage and culture. He’s also into watching movies and anime series.

My journey into coding began in high school, driven by a curiosity about the inner workings of online games like Ragnarok. This exploration ignited my passion for programming, setting the stage for my career.
I excel in but am not limited to, Ruby, React, and VueJS. Embracing challenges at work fuels my professional growth, pushing me to constantly innovate and improve.
Beyond coding, I find joy in DIY projects, particularly in home security and surveillance. It’s a hands-on way to explore technology beyond the screen.
For me, everything begins with curiosity and culminates in a rewarding career. Each line of code written and every challenge faced contributes to an excellent professional journey.
Miko Dagatan
Developer
Miko started his career working on the Ruby on Rails framework. He also adapted to learn Javascript, ReactJS, VueJS, Typescript, Laravel, and Hotwire throughout his years of work.
When offline, he enjoys spending his time watching, playing games, and hanging around with his family.
Paulo Militante
Developer
Paulo began his career as a developer creating web applications with PHP and Laravel. He then transitioned into creating interfaces for Rails applications with Javascript and React.
He has been honing his skills with startups in Asia-Pacific and Europe, developing web applications and managing projects. He values good communication the most and believes that it is prerequisite to one’s growth and success.
Aside from software development, Paulo is also passionate about sports and music. He participates in competitive events for basketball, soccer, and ultimate. If all that isn’t enough, he also plays the guitar, with an aim to be half decent at playing the blues.
Richard Gonzales
Developer
Richard has spent more than 15 years in software development with a range of technologies, mostly integrating with Ruby on Rails. Now he likes to focusing on ROR for it’s simplicity and the ability to rapidly deliver solutions to clients.
After spending a few years as a freelance developer based in Manila, Philippines, he decided it was more effective working as part of a team to get projects delivered for clients.
In his downtime he’s been known to hunt down the next great gastronomic experience town with his family.

Studied Bioinformatics at uni but found the Biology side kind of boring and focused on the computing side. He first started programming something useful in Perl then moved onto PHP and web development before discovering Ruby in 2011.
He self taught himself Ruby while trying to learn French and live in France, which was where he scored his first Ruby job with a small start-up in Paris.
Outside of work you’ll probably find him with his kids on a bike ride, going on long runs, playing golf or just hanging out with family and friends.
