Protect and archive your WordPress content automatically. Track history, detect broken links and keep timeline of your pages.

== Description ==

Your website content is valuable. But what happens if a page changes, a link breaks, or you need proof that your content existed at a specific time?

Content Vault is a simple WordPress plugin that helps you protect, archive, and track your content history automatically.

It creates a secure record of your posts and pages whenever they are published or updated, so you always have a verifiable archive and timeline of your content.

Whether you are a blogger, business owner, or digital agency, Content Vault helps you keep your content safe and documented.

### Why Use Content Vault?
Websites constantly change. Pages are updated, links disappear, and sometimes you need to prove when something was published.

Content Vault solves this problem by automatically saving archive records of your content and monitoring important changes.

### With Content Vault, you can:
- Keep a historical record of your content
- Track when updates were made
- Protect your website from broken external links
- Maintain a reliable archive of your pages

All of this happens quietly in the background without interrupting your workflow.

### Who Is Content Vault For?
Content Vault is perfect for bloggers, publishers, digital agencies, content creators, businesses managing important web pages, and any website that relies on external references.

== Features: ==

- **Direct "Archive Now" Button**
 Easily trigger immediate archiving directly from the Post and Page editor screen without leaving your editor.

- **Post List Table Columns**
 View the archive status and latest snapshot of every post at a glance from your standard Posts/Pages screens, and trigger archives with inline buttons.

- **Bulk Archiving Support**
 Select multiple posts or pages and archive them simultaneously in a single click using the native WordPress bulk actions menu.

- **Custom Cooldown Settings**
 Easily control or disable the edit/publish archive cooldown. Manual archives will always bypass the cooldown to give you full control.

- **Embedded Iframe 404 Handler**
 If a page goes missing (404), display the archived snapshot embedded natively on your website with a clean top branding bar, or choose a direct redirect.

- **Automatic Content Archiving**
 Automatically archives posts and pages whenever they are published or updated.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/content-vault` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
3. Access the feed at `https://your-site.com/wp-json/merchant-ai/v1/feed`.

== Usage ==

The feed is available at the `https://your-site.com/wp-json/merchant-ai/v1/feed` endpoint.
It will prompt a file of `products.json` which can be downloaded.

You can submit this URL or the downloaded file to OpenAI's Merchant interface.
