Audience Research- Additional
Findings
 I found my ideal target audience tended to listen to a spectrum of
different artists. I found (interestingly) that the audience didn't access
their music on iTunes as much as I previously believed. The music is
mainly accessed on video sharing websites (such as
YouTube/grooveshark), this makes the quality of the music video
evermore important as its' presented in a visual fashion (other than
  iTunes and Spotify).
 I found that the target audience generally liked the idea of the band
being featured in the video. This discards my second idea with the
absence of a band as it would not be as popular as I first anticipated.
 I found that my audience would be willing to listen to embrace a new-
type of video, as they found that today's' videos lacked originality. My
briefs do contain elements of originality because they all contain a
storyline that most mainstream artists haven't covered, so this is
positive. My videos will contain deep messages and symbolism, so
the idea that my target audience would be willing to experience and
like the idea of these messages in my video is also promising.
 One of my main worries was that people of today wouldn't be
concerned with music videos/not show as much interest in them as
people may have done previously. However, my question regarding
scaling showed that they did find music videos important.
Location Shots
 I visited several locations. The initial location
shots are to be featured in the idyllic village of
  Long Clawson-where I was raised.
 As the village holds many memories for me
personally, these shots would add sentimental
value to the video and thus form a sense of
  natural realism.
A Day In The Life Of A Pop-
Rocker
 I constructed and asked myself questions regarding the video.
Here are the questions and my answers.
 Why did I choose to do the investigation? I decided to do the
investigation into my life as I thought that it would add a sense of
    substance to my audience research.
 What is involved in my investigation? The investigation
includes elements like the contents of my wardrobe (a.k.a
clothing that may fit either a conventional view of pop/rock music)
to the lunch I eat (a.k.a to investigate social conventions within
    the pop-rocker audience).
 Why do I choose myself as the subject of study? I don't claim
to be anybody special, but I am an everyday of pop/rock music.
Hopefully, this means I can show typical representations of my
    target audience.
 Am I representative of the generic audience that listen to
pop rock music? I honestly can say that I feel that I am very
diverse in my music taste. My IPod contains music from
"Cannibal Corpse" to "Kate Bush". This means that I should be
able to convey a spectrum of different audiences' as my tastes
are so diverse. Also, I listen to some very popular bands within
the pop-rock audience, for example: The Killers, Simple Plan,
