UNMHA is mandated to support the implementation of the Agreement on the City of Hudaydah and thereby contribute to stability in Hudaydah governorate.
The United Nations Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) is responsible for leading and supporting the functioning of the Redeployment Coordination Committee, monitoring compliance with the governorate-wide ceasefire and the mutual redeployment of forces from the city of Hudaydah and the ports of Hudaydah, Salif and Ras Isa, working with the parties so that the security of the city and ports is assured by local security forces in accordance with Yemeni law, and facilitating and coordinating United Nations support to assist the parties to fully implement the Agreement.
