Heya @frivoal, just a quick note to add that I’ve been working on 2 related PRs in the WCAG 2.x task force:

I also made a quick test page to evaluate a screen reader experience in assorted tech combinations, with some additional comments in the PR.

The restoration of rb will certainly factor into both of these PRs, so I‘ll be watching this issue closely. 🙏🏻 If you have any insights you could share — particularly around the current Japanese assistive technology experience (PC-Talker, for example) — I’d be grateful.
