Suppose that a Chinese HTML document contains pinyin and that Cantonese TTS rendering is needed by the user. In my understanding, pinyin represents the pronunciation of Mandarin Chinese, based on the Beijing phonological system. Thus, pinyin should be completely ignored for Cantonese TTS rendering. More about this, see https://github.com/w3c/ruby-t2s-req/issues/39
