Timelines are hard to predict in spec work. A static timeline can be found from the charter, in addition I try to update the roadmap on a best effort basis. Please consider all future dates guesstimates.
The decision to adopt the Geolocation Sensor spec was made by the W3C Advisory Committee when it approved (Member-only link) the current charter on 29 Jun 2018.
