I build two things:
ReadZen, a free, open-source desktop app for reading, translating, and studying Chinese Zen texts. Side-by-side reading, corpus search, translation tools, scholar collections, and community sharing across ~5000 CBETA texts and the growing OpenZenTexts collection.
OpenZenTexts, a freely-licensed corpus of Zen texts transcribed from historical woodblock prints, released under CC0 / CC BY-SA. Unlike most Buddhist text databases, scholars, publishers, teachers, and developers can use these texts without restriction.
Your sponsorship funds new woodblock transcriptions (40-80 hours each), translation tool development, and a growing open corpus that belongs to everyone.
