Hi @ZvejysMegejas, Yes, this is not currently supported and it is not on the roadmap. What is the main goal of having this metric available? If there's a desire & justification for this functionality from users, then we can consider adding it. Regards, |

I second this - with more complex systems, or during the design process, it can often be informative to know the focal length of subsystems |

I did not see a function to calculate an effective focal length (EFFL) between surfaces.
lens.paraxial.f2() gives for the whole system.
Lens1+Lens2 could be used initially to get f2 (EFFL) for Lens1 and Lens2. However if a combined lens is optimized then it is void.
