%ECLIPSE_HOME% refers to the directory Eclipse is installed (e.g. C:\eclipse). For Mac OSX %ECLIPSE_HOME% refers to the Contents/Eclipse directory inside the Eclipse application package.

In Ant scripts the property eclipse.home may be used to reference the Eclipse home directory.
