Mavlow extension missing from gallery despite meeting documented discovery requirements #29639

Description

@kbgamble

URL of the page with the issue

https://geminicli.com/extensions/

What is the problem?

My extension, Mavlow, has not appeared in the Gemini CLI extensions gallery approximately six days after publication.

Repository: https://github.com/kbgamble/mavlow-gemini

The repository meets the documented discovery requirements:

  • It is public.
  • It has the gemini-cli-extension GitHub topic.
  • It contains gemini-extension.json at the repository root.

Manifest: https://github.com/kbgamble/mavlow-gemini/blob/main/gemini-extension.json

As of October 5, 2026, Mavlow is absent from both the gallery and https://geminicli.com/extensions.json.

Could you check whether the crawler is discovering this repository and whether it is being skipped or failing validation? If validation is failing, please share the error so I can address it.

What did you expect to happen?

The publishing documentation states that tagged repositories are crawled daily and listed if they pass validation. I expected Mavlow to appear in the gallery after a daily crawl, provided it passes validation.

Additional context

The repository was created on September 29, 2026.

This appears similar to issue #28900:
#28900

I have confirmed the public repository, topic, and root manifest, but have not yet run gemini extensions validate locally.
