Switching to a new 26 keyboard layout can affect users’ typing fluency due to differences from their previous input presision layout . I propose a potential feature that helps users align the new keyboard layout with their previous one:

Capture a screenshot of the old keyboard layout during first-time setup.

Overlay the new keyboard as a semi-transparent layer.

Let users adjust key positions dynamically to match the old layout.

Goal:

Preserve users’ muscle memory and maintain fluent typing.

Provide a smooth transition for longtime users.
