The FEO framework’s current implementation of the shutdown sequence is incomplete, and the primary process lacks a complete implementation for handling termination requests.

A proposed shutdown handling mechanism has been implemented as a contribution to be reviewed by the FEO team, incorporating logic to handle external termination requests in the primary agent. The design flow for this shutdown sequence, which has been verified for both relayed and direct signalling modes, is detailed in the following sequence diagrams.
