Here using Lubuntu 24.04.3 kernel 6.14 and Double Commander 1.2.6 QT 64 bits.

I see when is accessed a directory with several others subdirectories is a long time to enter that directory doing much disk acess being as is done in sequence :

• the user want only open a directory.
• that directory has only few files (txt) and subdirectories has several files a other directories.
• when the directory is accessed before showing the list of files and directories is done much disk access as if is doing access in each subdirectory.
  Sometimes when alternating to others softwares and doing again that same action Double Commander does the same long disk access before showing that directory.
  That action in HDs does much slowdown.
  Is possible Double Commander avoid try read subdirectory content if user had opened only the root directoy ?
