Overview

The DevSec Blueprint (DSB) is a free and open-source learning platform built to help engineers develop real-world skills in DevSecOps and Cloud Security Development.

Rather than focusing solely on theory or certification prep, DSB teaches engineers how to build, secure, and automate real cloud-native systems.

The platform provides structured learning paths, quizzes, badges, and hands-on walkthroughs designed to guide learners through the practices used by modern DevSecOps and cloud security engineers.

What You’ll Learn

By following The DevSec Blueprint, you will gain:

DevSecOps Foundations

Learn the core principles behind DevSecOps, the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), and modern security engineering practices.

Cloud Security Development

Understand how to design and build secure cloud-native systems using best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Practical Security Engineering

Build and secure real systems, including:

  • Secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning
  • Secrets management strategies
  • Container security practices
  • Cloud security automation

Real Projects

DSB encourages learners to build within their own cloud environments instead of relying on temporary sandbox labs.

This allows learners to create real projects and portfolios while developing practical skills.
