Current implementation uses Leiden (igraph/leidenalg).
Neo4j GDS has native Louvain.

Compare:

  • Modularity scores
  • Community size distributions
  • Runtime on full 31M graph
  • Impact on downstream PR-AUC

This will justify our algorithm choice with data.
