I’m a security engineer focused on building practical security systems informed by real attacker behavior.
I started my career as a Software Engineer at Microsoft before moving into Microsoft’s Red Team, where I worked on adversary-minded security assessments across large-scale services, applications, authentication flows, distributed systems, and protocols.
Today, my work focuses on detection engineering, detection-as-code, threat hunting, telemetry quality, and high-signal detection design. I’m especially interested in building security tooling that helps teams reason through attack paths, close coverage gaps, and improve security operations.
I also build practical AI security tooling where it can improve analyst productivity, knowledge retrieval, PR workflows, and detection development.
| Attacker-informed detection | Designing detections from realistic attack paths, telemetry gaps, and incident response needs. |
| Security engineering | Building maintainable detection-as-code workflows, internal tooling, and scalable security processes. |
| Offensive-to-defensive security | Using red team experience to improve detection coverage, secure code review, and practical defensive controls. |
Outside of security, I enjoy photography and music.
