I’m having several issues with the spectrogram annotation module:

1. When I try to add the module, Pamguard freezes and becomes unresponsive. The only way to close and save changes is by typing exit into the black box (Jennifer’s workaround).
2. When I draw an annotation box and add text, the box disappears and nothing appears in the data map.

At the moment, I’m stuck and unable to run any analyses.
FYI, I did not encounter this problem earlier this summer on the same laptop.

Troubleshooting so far:

• The issue occurs on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 (tested on two laptops).
• I re-ran my detectors in Pamguard (create a new sqlite3 and binaries), this time adding the spectrogram annotation module directly, but the issue is still the same, the annotation boxes disappear.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
