Security Upgrade Review Summary
This PR successfully addresses a security vulnerability by upgrading werkzeug from 2.2.3 to 3.1.5. The security fix is important and should be merged.
Critical Issue Identified:
- Dependency Compatibility Risk: The existing Flask version constraint (
Flask>1) is too broad and may cause compatibility issues with the new werkzeug 3.x requirement.
Recommendation:
Update the Flask version constraint to Flask>=2.2.0 to ensure compatibility with werkzeug 3.1.5 before merging.
The security fix itself is correct and necessary - the compatibility constraint just needs to be tightened to prevent potential runtime issues.
You can now have the agent implement changes and create commits directly on your pull request's source branch. Simply comment with /q followed by your request in natural language to ask the agent to make changes.

🛑 Dependency Compatibility Risk: The broad Flask version constraint Flask>1 (line 2) combined with the new werkzeug requirement >=3.1.5 could create compatibility issues. Flask versions before 2.2.0 may not be compatible with werkzeug 3.x. Consider updating the Flask constraint to ensure compatibility with the new werkzeug version.

Code Review
This pull request, automatically generated by Snyk, upgrades werkzeug to version 3.1.5 to address a security vulnerability. While the upgrade is necessary, pinning werkzeug to a 3.x version creates a potential dependency conflict with the Flask>1 requirement, as Flask versions below 3.0 are not compatible with Werkzeug 3.x. I've added a comment with a recommendation to also update the Flask version constraint to ensure the dependencies remain compatible and the example application does not break.

Pinning werkzeug to version 3.1.5 or higher introduces a potential dependency conflict. Flask versions prior to 3.0.0 are incompatible with Werkzeug 3.x (they require Werkzeug<3). Since this file specifies a very broad Flask>1 dependency, pip could attempt to install a 2.x version of Flask, which would conflict with this new werkzeug pin and cause installation to fail.
To prevent this, the Flask dependency should be constrained to a compatible version. I recommend changing Flask>1 on line 2 to Flask>=3.0.0.
