Is Privacy Badger redundant when using uBlock Origin? #3208

This question was asked and answered back in 2022, but I thought I'd ask again now. I have been using Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin together since installing my browser (Waterfox) last year, and haven't had any issues with either extension. But I struggle to see what purpose Privacy Badger serves when I am using uBlock Origin too – which seems to always block the same things that Privacy Badger does, plus extra. Also, Privacy Badger claims to have blocked the same things that uBlock also claims to have blocked. There is no acknowledgement as to whether blocked content was blocked by another extension (e.g. uBlock), which doesn't do any favours to the question of redundancy. |

Privacy Badger is not an ad blocker and doesn't use ad blocker lists. While there is overlap between the various (manually-maintained) ad blocker lists and Privacy Badger, unlike ad blockers, Privacy Badger automatically learns to block trackers based on their behavior. This means that Privacy Badger may learn to block trackers your ad blocker doesn’t know about. Beyond block lists, Privacy Badger comes with special features like tweet replacement and Global Privacy Control, and is made by a nonprofit that fights for a better web.
