LUA CONFIG CURRENTLY NOT WORKING, I'm on it though. Hyprlang config is still working, has a few bugs though

Hyprland theme switcher but every workspace is a different theme, depending on the background. These are the Dotfiles for this.

My first try at a themeswitcher where every workspace has a different theme, depending on the wallpaper. the lockscreen is a blurred version of whatever is currently on screen, the dots for the password are the arch linux symbol.

2026/07/16 hyprland.lua added but not yet tested 2026/08/03 hyprland.lua not working currently, I'm new to lua so this was to be expected. Working on it though

see https://github.com/Candys2000/Themeswitcher-hyprland/tree/main/screenshots or folder Screenshots for screenshots to see the taskbar, color changes and window stack.

colors-hyprland.sh and waybar-colors.sh need to be in the personal file/home, everything else needs to be in the .config. pictures need to be in ~/Bilder/ Otherwise change the route in hyprland.conf lines 41 for workspace 1 wallpaper and lines 292-320 for all 10 workspaces as well.

i added a few fun icons in the waybar files pictures need to be in the exact folder as the hyprland.conf says. in mine its ~/Bilder/pictures/ but it can be changed. if the pictures are changed in the hyprland.conf, the theme should adjust.

About

My first try at a themeswitcher where every workspace has a different theme, depending on the wallpaper. I use this on CachyOS but it should work on every arch-based distro.
