Method: projects.guestPolicies.create

Create an OS Config guest policy.

HTTP request

POST https://osconfig.googleapis.com/v1beta/{parent=projects/*}/guestPolicies

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent

string

Required. The resource name of the parent using one of the following forms: projects/{project_number}.

Query parameters

guestPolicyId

string

Required. The logical name of the guest policy in the project with the following restrictions:

  • Must contain only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  • Must start with a letter.
  • Must be between 1-63 characters.
  • Must end with a number or a letter.
  • Must be unique within the project.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of GuestPolicy.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of GuestPolicy.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
