AirPods (2nd gen) disconnect from iPhone 11 after 2-3 hours of use

My AirPods 2nd gen will disconnect from my iPhone 11 after 2-3 hours of use. There is still over 80% of power on the airpods and over 70% on the phone. Why?

Hi there

Please try this

Clean the AirPods: Wipe the metal mesh and stems with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.

Reset the AirPods: Put them in the case, close the lid, wait 30 seconds, then go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings, select "Forget This Device," and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the status light flashes amber and white to reconnect them.

Update Your iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Software Update to install the latest iOS version.

Turn Off Automatic Ear Detection: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the "i" icon next to your AirPods, and turn off Automatic Ear Detection.
