Bashir Billow R&B artist from Copenhagen

about

Bashir Billow is a Somali singer and producer based in Copenhagen. His sound lives in the space between electronic production and organic textures — blending elements of R&B, alternative pop, and hip-hop with subtle, cinematic detail.

With a background in songwriting and collaboration, Bashir’s upcoming solo work marks a new chapter: introspective, genre-fluid, and emotionally resonant. His compositions often explore transformation, memory, and the nuances of identity — weaving atmosphere with melody to create music that feels both spacious and intimate.

A co-founder of Fragment Radio — a QTIBIPOC-centered radio platform turned production space — Bashir is part of a community of artists reimagining sound, connection, and cultural storytelling from the ground up.
