I was so excited when i found out that there was a new feature called Clean Up. Whenever I use it on my photos, after 10 erasures, suddenly the photos app will crash. So my work wouldn’t be saved. I also have another problem in the Adjust feature. When I try to adjust the scale, it doesn’t work. The photo just stays the same, although i was able to adjust it by pressing cancel and doing it again. Though this is such a hassle thing to do. PLEASE fix this.

I love Photos app especially now that it’s progressing its intuitiveness. But……. 3 things….1. I just hope that it also develop better updates, features, and capabilities on its SHARED ALBUMS. Like as simple as sort the Shared Albums by name apart from its default by recently updated; and the ability to “search” for Shared Album names so we don’t have to scroll so much just to look for the right album to share photos in. 2. BRING BACK THE TABS!iOS 18 has rolled out with a lot of great updates, but there's one change that really stands out—and not in a good way. The Photos app has ditched its tab-style interface, where we had four convenient tabs: "Library", "Albums", "For You", and "Search". Now, it's all merged into a single-page, scrollable interface, which frankly, is a step back in terms of usability.Think about those times when you were scrolling through your library, and a photo caught your eye, reminding you of something similar in an album. Before, you could just flick to the "Albums" tab, find what you needed, and flip right back to where you were in the library. Easy, right? Now, if you make that switch, your place in the library is lost, and you have to scroll all the way up again in the library to find where you were previously.This new single-page layout means that every time you switch contexts, you start your scroll from scratch. What used to be a fluid and intuitive experience now feels frustrating and disjointed.3. I also love the duplicate photos feature… I just hope we have the one click option to choose which one to merge as a whole: exact duplicates or similar photos or all.

This photos app keeps crashing and lagging on base model iPhone 12 running ios 17.2.1, and heating up the back of the phone also when you are using a iCloud when the photos are currently backed up some photos are black like the whole camera roll was completely black and i tried zooming in and try to wait until it loads up the photos, it loads back but after 1 week - 2 weeks maybe or month it backs at black again its supper annoying please fix this issues because it is the default photo app for iPhones my internet is also stable and im paying iCloud monthly for more storage pleaseeee fix thisss. If someone also experiencing this too let me know, i hope divelopers see this helpful reviews for their customer service.

I recently tried to free up space from my phon by transferring my photos to an external storage. I then deleted everything. Of course I also emptied recently deleted photos. To my surprise, when I checked the phone’s storage, it’s still taking up 9gb of space and up to now, I cant find the solution to delete this documents and data. I read somewhere that I need to update ios version and now I’m waiting for the next os update. I still don’t know if this will work because it didn’t work for a whole lot of others per reddit. I think it’s a common issue where the only fix is to reset the whole phone to factory settings. What a load of bs
