47th EU-Israel Inter-parliamentary meeting, 27 - 30 October 2025

A delegation representing the European Parliament (EP) Delegation for relations with Israel held a visit to the State of Israel from 27 to 30 October 2025, on the occasion of the 47th inter-parliamentary meeting (IPM) between the EP and the Knesset.

This is part of the ongoing structured dialogue between the two Parliaments. The previous IPM took place on 28 June 2023, in Brussels.

Led by MEP Hildegard Bentele, Chair of the EP Delegation for relations with Israel and composed of four other Members, MEP Bert-Jan Ruissen, First Vice-Chair of the Delegation, MEP Dan Nica, Second Vice-Chair of the Delegation, MEP Daniel Caspary and MEP Moritz Körner, the delegation met with Member of Knesset (MK) Ariel Kallner, the Chair of the Knesset Delegation for relations with the European Parliament, as well as with other MKs, members of the above-mentioned Delegation, during the IPM. The IPM adopted a joint statement. The delegation briefly met the Speaker of the Knesset, MK Amir Ohana. Other meetings were held with representatives of the opposition in the Knesset, namely, MK Merav Ben Ari, the Whip of the Opposition and MK Ayman Odeh, Chairman of the Harash party, as well as with the Chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth.
