NOT USER FRIENDLY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO REFUND AND HARD TO CANCEL
Don't get this service. The platform is not userfriendly unlike heymarket and all other platforms i've used.
Be careful when signing up! They don't offer refund if you don't like their platform plus you don't have the option to cancel until 2 weeks later! They want to make sure customers forget so they get charged again.
There are better companies and texting platforms out there. Beware of this company!!!!!!
Signed up to send an SMS message to…
Signed up to send an SMS message to potential voters for a rural firefighter levy. Could not load a list of phone numbers until "subscribing" to test the system. The list was denied as it was "not opt in" but from the elections office. Textedly refused to refund $300 even though it was the same day and the funds were from small town firefighters donations... These people have little to no morals and will literally steal from first responders' families!!
Tons of hidden charges and predatory…
Tons of hidden charges and predatory practices where you can only cancel 15 before the auto-renew. They are counting on you to forget to cancel and it auto renews it.
Do NOT use this service
Do NOT use this service. They have deceptive business practices and will charge your card for services you did not agree to. Then when you contact them they will make up terms of use that you have never seen or agreed to. If you want to save yourself some money go to cancel online (if you can even find it!) and it will offer you 50% off for the entire time you use the service. They intentionally hide the spot to cancel.
1. Log in to your Textedly account
2. Navigate to the bottom left corner of your dashboard and click on your name.
3. Select the "Plans & Billing" tab
4. Select the "Invoices" tab
5. You will find an "Account Details" button in the top right-hand corner. Click on this and you will see the "cancel my plan"
I don't want anyone to get scammed out of over $2000 like they are trying to do to my small business!!
Double Billed
Our local school board campaign in Oregon hired Textedly for a 1-time blast to supporters to get out the vote near the end of the election.
We upgraded the number within the hour, but they wouldn’t give us our money back on the 1st request, only credit which was not helpful because the campaign ended. So we ended up paying twice and getting an overdraft fee from our bank.
Poor customer service. Phoned half dozen times, left messages, but Emily never replied.
This program simply does not deliver…
This program simply does not deliver what it advertises. In addition, they have continued to charge my account despite several attempts to close it. I have worked with many different texting services for campaigns and this one is the most unprofessional.
Rip off waste of time
Rip off waste of time. Nickel and dime for basic services. ZERO customer service. EVEN their Online CHAT takes at minimum 3 hours for response.
Unable to upload contact lists for easy group texting. Have to ask for Permission???? weeks still no reponse to that request. What the heck is this service even for. Who on earth is going to manually type in the 10 data points per text contact?? Total waste of time. Do not use this for any reason there cant be anything worse.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company! After having them for a year, we still weren’t able to reply to texts, then our subscription auto-renewed, so we tried to cancel, and were told they don’t do refunds, so we should use our account. We’re paying for a year of service we don’t get!
Their customer support sucks
Their customer support sucks. Their people don't know what they're doing. They don't call you back. They don't do what they're supposed to do. The company management is a piece of crap. Nobody should use their software until I clean up their house if you know what I mean.
Lacks basic features for scheduling…
Lacks basic features for scheduling email campaigns on schedule versus date. When discovered that this feature was missing, within an hour of signing up, the company refused to refund their charges.
Great customer service
Great customer service! Juliana was very helpful on the phone with technical support and getting my number verified. Thank you !
This company sends you unsolicited spam…
This company sends you unsolicited spam texts. I wouldn't trust them to have my clients contact information. Additionally their salespeople that call are extremely rude and unprofessional.
Not As Advertised – Beware of Hidden Requirements
I signed up for Textedly expecting a straightforward way to send messages to existing clients. After paying for a monthly subscription, I was met with a series of unexpected compliance steps that were never clearly disclosed upfront.
Despite following multiple rounds of review and even updating my website to meet their guidelines, I was still unable to send a single message. Each time I completed one task, another requirement was introduced.
When I requested a refund for the two months of fees—given that no meaningful service had been delivered—Textedly refused. Their customer support acknowledged the frustration but cited their terms to deny the refund, even though I never had access to the core functionality I paid for.
I'm now exploring external options to recover my money. I strongly advise potential users to read the fine print and be aware of what you're really getting into before signing up.
So disappointing
So disappointing. Customer Support does not provide customer support. They redirect you to "dedicated account manager" to answer any questions. Why do you have a chat box on the website with live reps and a "text this number for support" only for you to get someone live, and them say we can't support you. They think this is a good for business because it points to a dedicated rep? C'mon. It was the dumbest thing I've experienced and only led to my frustration for a support line to tell me they cannot support me with simple answers to simple questions
Long-time user of Textedly
Long-time user of Textedly. Can I give zero stars? They're terrible. Where should I begin? After working on texts for 30 minutes, I automatically get signed out and lose all my time and work. I've lost HOURS because of this. Second, if you send a little longer text, it shows up out of order to the receiver. Very confusing for the recipient. There's more frustrating aspects, like, you MUST send text with a picture or it won't send. Just too many problems to invest in. Now I have to use a different number and surely I'll lose subscribers. If you want lost hours of work and other annoying things happen to your account, go for it.
Poor experience
The actual service may be great, but poor customer service, hiding behind T&C's, and hiding behind renewal contracts is horrid.
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Does not work! Do not use!
Overcharged, Unresponsive, and Useless Service
They don’t return calls. We were supposed to be charged $20 for the month to try it out but they charged us over $500. And can’t even use it because the $20/mth doesn’t provide enough “credit” to text our 250 people. Wish I had seen all the other reviews prior to signing up. We will have to dispute the charge with our cc company because I’ve tried calling, emailing and even texting our “personal concierge” numerous times with no response
I was overcharged $780.00
I was overcharged $780.00. When I brought it to their attention, I was refunded. However, there was also a price increase that I was not contacted about. I didn’t agree to the increase. On my textedly Home Screen my original plan price was clearly listed at my original rate which they refused to honor. Also, The login process is atrocious. It’s like a hamster wheel. You’ve gotta go to your email and click login many times. It doesn’t login on the first or second try it takes about three times to login. You cannot delete anyone from the account that is no longer on your list. Not the best program not the best customer service.

It isn't configured for simple and straightforward mobile use. I usually wait to post until I get to laptop because it's difficult to do from my phone.
